Self defence, confidence and fitness with experienced and insured 7th Dan Instructor.
Brian Smith Sensei (left), began his karate training in 1974 after watching the popular Bruce Lee kung fu films of the time. "I wanted to become a black belt in 6 months but then realised it was going to take a bit longer". More than 47 years later sensei is still training and teaching, always learning something, however small, from each and every class. Having had the privilege to train under some of the karate world's elite instructors including sensei's Enoeda, Shiria, Tase, Tsuyama and the late chief instructor of the Japan Karate Association Masatoshi Nakayama. He has also trained with Goju-ryu master Morio Higaonna. The strength and depth of Lovedean Karate Club is there to be seen.
